Forgive me for the three month delayed entry, I’ve been busy for the past months because of thesis and internship so I don’t have to write and publish this post. Anyway, Hello, I’m back.
Since my friends recently graduated from college, we decided to take a short vacation to the beach in our hometown. Planning was never easy. We wanted to go to Boracay to exprience Laboracay but of course we can’t because strict parents. Besides, it’s too late to book plane tickets and hotel rooms. So we found ourselves in the beautiful island of Caramoan, Camarines Sur.
We did island hopping on the islands of Lahus, Matukad, Hunongnan and another one which I forgot. Lahus island is an island between two white sand beaches and for Matukad, we trekked to the rock formation to see the lagoon. Thanks to our boat guide who was so game in taking our pictures even with our awkward and funny poses.
Tip: If you plan to go to Caramoan, never miss trekking Matukad Island – it’s scary at the same time fulfilling once you reached the top and the view is very surreal.
We stayed in Tugawe Cove Resort – great place, great ambiance, good food and lots of activities. We did kayaking, snorkeling, trekked to the lighthouse to watch the sunset and watch the sunrise on their pool.
If you are looking for a high end resort – stay at Tugawe.
Sorry for flooding you with pictures – there’s actually more but let’s limit it to that!
Believe me, it’s a must try place to see – the sand is powdery white and the water is crystal clear plus many rock formations!! 😉
